Ellen L. Carlson
Senior Sales Manager

Ellen, a native of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, received a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Kentucky in 2005. While there, Ellen served in relevant capacities within Delta Gamma Sorority, giving her the experience of planning and executing events. Ellen also coordinated events at the corporate level during her tenure with one of the country’s largest publicly held banks. After briefly working in the Hospitality Industry, it became evident to Ellen that she had received her calling —in event management. Relocating to Nashville in December of 2006, Ellen joined the team at Destination Nashville as Sales Manager.

Since 2008 Ellen has served as Programs and Locations Co-Chair for The National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) Nashville Chapter.  NACE provides catering and event professionals superior education, networking and resources to enhance career success and deliver excellence to clients.  In December 2009 Ellen was promoted to Senior Sales Manager. As Senior Sales Manager for Destination Nashville, Ellen has the knowledge, skills and abilities to execute successful events. Her attention to detail and uncanny eye for creativity equip her to design the perfect experience for our clients.
