A Nashville resident for thirty years, Emily has a genuine appreciation for the area and its history. Before joining Destination Nashville in 2004, she spent several years in the hospitality industry with experience in Special Events at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center and the Opryland Theme Park as well as a local travel company. Her background also includes teaching, office management and corporate gifting plus extensive involvement in church and community boards and organizations.

After winning hospitality awards in state-wide competition and in college, Emily knew she was destined to someday become happily involved in the hospitality industry. Her love of people makes it a joy to perform the variety of opportunities encountered daily at Destination Nashville with great enthusiasm!
