Gretchen joined the Destination Nashville team in April 2008 as Sales Assistant. She grew up and spent most of her life living in the Atlanta area.  Receiving a degree in Marketing from Kennesaw State University in 2003, Gretchen worked in sales right out of college.  She later ventured out into the Event Planning world and loved every minute of it!

After deciding she needed a change of scenery from her native Atlanta, Gretchen checked out Austin, TX, Charleston, SC, and Nashville, TN as options for her possible new hometown.  At the end of 2007, she decided to relocate to Nashville because it immediately felt like home.
