Karen A. Davis
Finance / IT Manager

Karen joined Destination Nashville with a degree in journalism and 20 years of experience in graphic design. She began in 1999 helping with tour databases and other computer support tasks.  With many other added duties and responsibilities, she was named Finance & IT Manager in January 2008.  Her duties include: accounts payable; accounts receivable; payroll and other personnel matters; and computer troubleshooting. 

Away from Destination Nashville, Karen is active in Toastmasters International.  She has served in various leadership roles including: president of three different chapters in the Middle Tennessee area and governor for the Tennessee/Kentucky/Virginia District. Karen was awarded “District 63 Toastmaster of the Year,” the highest honor bestowed upon individual members.  She is also a member of the National Storytelling Network and the Macon County Arts Council.  An asset to the Destination Nashville team, Karen considers herself “a bookkeeper by trade but a storyteller by heart.”
