Operations Manager

Katie comes to Destination Nashville with over 4 years experience in the event planning industry. After graduating from Auburn University in 2002, she moved to Orlando, Florida where she planned children’s programs at Florida Children’s Hospital. Wanting to move back to the south, Katie relocated to Nashville. While in Nashville Katie grew her passion for the industry by volunteering for non-profit fundraising events.

In 2006 Katie joined the Conference Services Department at Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. With her knowledge and experience from her time at Opryland it was a smooth transition into the DMC world and Destination Nashville.
