The AAA affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, founded in 1978, boasts more than 100 players who went on to play at the Major League level. Season runs mid April–mid September.

Games are played at the newly remodeled Greer Stadium. Fully catered private tent parties and discounted tickets are available for groups of 20 or more.

All groups are recognized during the game via the Message Center, Radio, Public-Address System and by getting to sing the 7th Inning Stretch. Box seats and general admission seats are available.
